Get Happy | Mindfulness Coaching

Updated: Feb 11

“I want to be happier” is one of the most common statements I hear in my Intuitive  Life Coaching Practice. One way you can become a happier person is to choose gratitude!

Mindfulness Coaching

Know That The World Is A Better Place With You In It

Find Your Inner Happiness..

Choose and acknowledge something that you are grateful for today and every day. Choose to be happy about something, anything, your job, friends, family, your health, your hair, a blue sky! It doesn’t matter what you choose to be grateful for because it’s the energy of gratitude we’re hoping to experience.

Everyday when you make a choice to be grateful for something you are creating or reinforcing gratitude neural pathways. Reinforcing subconscious programming of happiness and joy. These neural pathways trigger dopamine and serotonin hormones which are released into our bodies as the feel good chemicals.  This can be a very powerful healing tool in an   Intuitive Life Coaching Practice. If the client wants to “feel better” this is one of the easiest ways to do so!

The “act of choosing” in and of itself has a strong effect on people’s experiences. It tells your brain that you want this and your brain will focus on it!

While Mindfully Coaching a client, negative subtext are exposed as they can be triggered by the events in a day.  Think about the news. Imagine what builds up in a week, a month, a year.  This negativity reinforces the fear neural pathways, which release cortisol and adrenaline chemicals into our bodies which trigger the fight-or-flight-or-freeze response. Collectively known as STRESS.

If you would like to reduce your stress, and who wouldn’t, then everyday choose to be grateful for someone or something in your life. This will create new neural pathways for many of us.  The one’s which release the feel good chemicals, which in time can literally outweigh the stress chemicals.

Working with a Mindfulness Coach will help you to recognize the subtle ways that your mind is resistant to change and can keep you in fear.

Gratitude challenge: Write down three things you are grateful for, for 21 days, no repeats.

Bonus: Write them down each evening then you will marinate on positivity.   Reread them in the morning and in turn set the tone for a positive day.
